reason for sketching

-explain why we do sketches?

• to persuade people who make decisions about a project that an idea is good.
• to develop a refined sketch of a proposed solution to a problem that a client can respond to it.
• to clarify a complicated defiles of a daring that has more than one view by enlarging it or by creating a simple (pictorial) or pictures-like sketch.
• to give ideas to drafters so that they can do the detail drawings.
• to develop and analyze the best methods and materials for making a product.
• to permanently record a design improvement on a project that already exists.the change may result from the need to repair a part that breaks over again. it may result from a discovery of  an easier and less expensive way to make a part.
• to show that there are many ways to look at or solve a problem.
• to spend less time in drawing. it is  quicker to make a sketch, which takes only a pencil and paper, than to create a mechanical drawing.
